18th December! The day has finally arrived! Our last concert and final concert! Ms Wee's last concert also!

18th December...
The day I somehow wished would not arrive...
But it did...
That would be the day where it would be the last concert for me,Meiling,Asrida,Hendra and Hajar...and also Ms Wee...
It was a day that I wished would never arrive...
BUT it was a day full of laughter rather than sadness...

When we arrived at the AKE room for the last time that morning,we were all geared up for Hendra's surprise:His 20th birthday!

Haha...we had our last practice(for the senior citizens) and rehearsal(for senior citizens and present AKE members). Aunty Wee told us to just enjoy the music and we did!

Then we had lunch,whereby I had no appetite,but Meiling was sweet enough to buy me some finger food and let me eat.Really touched by her sweet gesture.I eventually finished a portion of it on the bus,and the rest at night.(Ms Alicia also didn't eat,so i gave her an egg tart).

Then we all boarded the bus and went to RP.None of us talked about the phrase'Last performance for the seniors and Ms Wee.' We all were engaged in our own little conversations and I dare to say that we were not sad at all. Hahas...Maybe we were all trying to hide or we were really forgetting that it's the last performance!

Then we were at the dressing room getting ready! And I felt like a superstar,reason being very simple:Every Year 1 and 2 wanted to take picture!

Then we were on!

After the concert,we took the bus back to school and we reached school at about 11 something. We were bushed but we were hyper(very contradictory). Hahas...

Eventually,me and Meiling took her dad's car back to my house 1st before they went back home.

We are like a family,practicing and eating and talking to Ms Wee!
To the Year 1s, it's fun to rehearse with all of you and I'm sure that you all will remember us when we come back to collect our results next year(even though I'm botak).

Year 2s, I'm grateful and encouraged to see everyone taking on their role seriously,especially Wei Siang. Hahas...We seniorS LOVE YOU!

Finally to Ms Angeline Wee:AKE LOVE YOU! WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND WE WILL REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS! SEE YOU AT THE AIRPORT ON 4TH JAN 2009 AND 4TH JAN 2010(if your flight is that accurate la).

MUM,I LOVE YOU AND HOPE THAT YOU WILL NOT FORGET THAT YOU HAVE ANOTHER SON WAITING FOR YOU IN SINGAPORE!我爱你!!!

Graduation High Tea for Millennians!

The graduation high tea for Millennians was absolutely a blast!

So much laughter,chattering(especially when the whole 2008 cohort is in a huge ballroom at OCC(Orchid Country Club) and there were lots of echoes from the loud sounds),and the flashes practically never stopped as everyone was trying to take photos with everyone else! The guys especially,were concerned with each other's enlistment details.

Show has started! I couldn't remember the first programme because I was going to line up at one corner with the recipients to receive our CCA service awards. ya.. and the good thing is....Meiling also received the award!!! Hahas... I don't why I feel so happy that she is also getting the award.Probably is the fact that we are church mates and in the same CCA bahx...

Then is the thing that I (and probably most of the students who had not had their breakfast and lunch) have been waiting for: The reception!!! There were lots of good food, better than GT Food Supply food(only teachers and students in Millennia Institute will understand) and since we (06S4) were closest to the reception tables,we all get the 'honour' of being the first to eat! Then some of my friends piled food on a small plate and Edgar said that they don't know how to plan for the future.(This may mean to leave some for the others,but I think he means that we can have a second helping if we want to later on when we finished eating!).Hahas...

Then we had this game called 'Table Games'.We were supposed to guess who the teacher is from their baby photos! How?! But we can! Because some of them were easy! Hahas...
Some of us literally LOL on the spot when the teachers' names were announced!

Then we all waited for Kevindev to deliver his speech! When his name were announced, the whole class stood up to applauded for him. Hahas...We must have been a sight in the ballroom! Then the award presenting for the sports CCA were held and when Vanessa's name were called,the whole class stood for her!(again) and we were,ya,considered crazy at that time...

Then came a very special event:Mr Toh,together with two other female teachers,sang a song,with himself playing on the piano!Nice Song and we all were touched!

Then the finale:All the teachers went up to the stage to sing a song for us!Touched!(again) and some of us,even the guys,wept!

Then a video showing all our teachers' feelings and blessings for us and wishing us luck in the upcoming A levels! Touched again! Some of the girls were practically crying le...

And then the sad news:our beloved teacher,Mr Ivan Lim, will be posted to PJC! We were all sad, and gasps were heard around the ballroom! But we still applauded for him,especially when he went on stage to receive the token of appreciation! Every student in the ballroom,teachers included,stood up from their seats and clapped for a long time!
Of course,the friendly,strict discipline master of the school,who teaches GP and never fails to talk about things that are obscene and brings across GP concepts in a funny and obscene way(I had been taught by him in Year 1,and the class laughed throughout the year,and we still managed to pass our GP!But we were sad because no one could be so funny and strict at the same time!

Then we all were taking photos with one another,with the class or in groups! And as I was saying,there were a lot of flashes around,and the photos below can explain that! Because we took photos with our classmates and everyone that we knew!~

Enlisting into Pasir Ris camp!

Finally received my long awaited enlistment letter!

Got into Pasir Ris camp, which is a commando camp...may be posted to Hendon Camp after BMT over there...

Recent reports of army men dying... Actually to tell u the truth... I'm a bit scared...Because the training is completely different...

Also happy for Edgar... Got into National Diving Unit(NDU) which is a navy unit...

I'm enlisting on 09/01/2009...Think I'm the 1st one to enlist into the army... Edgar enlisting in march...

Meanwhile,Just have to make sure my revision is in order and may I glorify God in my army life...

Thank Rev. Lai for the dinner

Today,after service,we had our YPF session on how to spread the gospel to people of other faith. It was interesting,but yet I fell asleep.Not really fall asleep,but going to. Luckily Marcus woke me up just in time. So embarrassing! But that kept me awake for the rest of the lesson. So we went to the kitchen to talk and after a while, Yu'an went home. Then we continued to talk and we all decided to go home after a while. When we reached the MRT station, Yu'an called Wenling and asked her whether she and we all wanted to go and have dinner together. We all said ok and because Wei Ling got something to do,she can't go and Marcus sent her home,so he cannot go with us too. So we all tried to go there and thank God that we could find the place. Hahas. There was Rev. Lai, Shi Mu,Yu'an,Aunty Biqing,Xiao Hong,Jia Jun,Jia Ming,Jasmine,Jerry,Wei Wu,Mei Ling,Wen Ling,Darius and me. So we had dinner and we all went home. Rev. Lai paid the bill and I think we ought to thank him for the dinner. I think we also ought to give thanks for the sermon that Aunty Biqing preached today about the home and the church,the Sunday school where we learned about the book of Joshua and the YPF session and the Hymn singing class,where we learned how to glorify God through our voices. All in all, I want to thank God for putting TBC into my life and the wonderful salvation that He had for me. Amen

It's Teachers' Day today!!!

Today is simply a GREAT day! So much laughter and the class spirit of 06S4 was so high until we overshot the climax! Nice performance by the whole class of 06S4! I must say that the weeks of practising and all the discussion was all wothwhile. We put up a wonderful performance not only for Mr.Pow and Mr.Roslan but for all the teachers as well. Let's give ourselves a super duper big round of applause! (Claps...)

Today those who lived in the Jurong area were a bit late because the route where the bus was blocked by a long vehicle,so those living in Jurong had to walk to school. But thank God that we all made it in time. We were super nervous before the performance and we gave one another a hug before we started.(When the curtains were drawn.) And we did it! And we had a new student in school today! Her name is Chan Pei Chen. Hey,isn't her name the same as one of our Chemistry teachers,Ms Chan? Hahas. Actually,it was her and she was wearing the school uniform and she looked really cute.But i only managed to take a photo of her far away.

After the performance, we all went to take a class photo with Mr.Pow. Then it turns out that he had written a note for the class. So we persuaded him to read it out. As he read, he started crying. But he still kept on reading with the class' support. After he finished reading,he was crying uncontrollably and the whole class gave him an 06S4 hug,and we ourselves were crying too,guys and girls alike.It's really the 06S4 spirit that brings us thus far and now,we'll be leaving the school. But I know that in Millennia Institute,there will only be one 06S4 and it will be us and no one else! Because we are irreplacable!

After the class photo taking,there was another surprise for our geography teachers,Mr.Toh and Mr.Ng. We call then the Geography Brothers because one teaches us physical Geog and the other teaches us human Goeg. So that makes one more humane than the other.(Brrr...Very COLD...) We prepared a cake for them and this was the first time that we did something for the teachers on teachers' day for the teachers other than our Home Tutors. So it's something which I find great and meaningful.

We also took a photo with Ms. Yani,our GP teacher! We were so thrilled today that we took every opportunity to take photos with the teachers that we know of! Thank teachers for grooming us into such wonderful and great people! We thank you very much! And to Mr.Pow:We first saw you riding a bicycle to school!

A lot of people said that I'm very cute. But come to think of it,who isn't cute when they were babies? Even though one may not look appealing to the others,but in their parents' eyes,they are the cutest and no one else can compare.

A dog is a man's best friend

Today was a super bad day. The service went well,but at 9.30am,my 'twin' received a call telling her that her dog has passed away. Chih Chih has passed away. She has been in hospital and she passed away peacefully on 24/08/2008. Yu'an was super devastated of course. She broke down in her father's arms and cried for very long. My heart ached for her too. It was a lousy feeling,knowing that a man's best friend has passed away. It's like a person that is close to you passed away like that. They went to see her for the last time. It's a lousy feeling la... Those who have pets will understand how she felt.

Sunday Service at Truth Baptist Church (17/08/2008)

17th August 2008- Sunday. It was a wet and cold Sunday. Woke up at 6.30am and can't get to sleep,so went and washed up and changed. Because I was serving at the service on that day,I wore a white long-sleeved shirt and a pair of navy blue pants. The tie was a white one with bubbles(or circles) on it. So I went on my way.

Wow! I can't believe it myself! I actually reached the church office at 8.30am.(around that time.). But I didn't wait long. About 5-8 mins later,I can see Rev.Lai's car drove past and Aunty Biqing's car was behind. Actually,I thought I will be late,but on that day,when I took the lift downstairs to walk to the bus stop,the bus came at the right time, and when I went to the platform to wait for the train,the train was there,waiting for me. I guess that is why I can reach earlier than usual. And Aunty Biqing praised me for being early,and I replied humbly that I did not wait long. Hahas.

9.30am- Service starts. The people serving were gathered for a short prayer before we began,led by Rev. Lai. Then after that,we took our places and get ready. First it's the silent meditation and home news sharing,led by Rev. Lai. Then is the call to worship,led by Ps. Eric and Bro.Darius. Then we sang the hymn To God Be The Glory,led by Uncle Jonathan Loo and Sis. Lai Yu'an. After that,we had our Invocation and Doxology. Then, our church choir presented a song entitled Sing A Round of Praise and conducted by Ps. Eric Kuan. I must say that the choir had indeed out a lot of effort into practicing for this song,because this song is used to glorify the Lord! Then after that, we had our Scripture Recitation,led by me and Sis.冉冉. The passage was taken from Isaiah 27:1-13. Then we sang a hymn again entitled All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name. After that, it's the sermon text recitation,and the sermon text passage is taken from Psalm 144:12-15. After that,it''s the sermon text,and Aunty Biqing was the speaker,interpreted by Bro. Marcus. The topic was 'Love Your Country and Love Your Family.'.After that, we sang a responsive hymn entitled O Lord, May Church and Home Combine. Then we had our offering,Thanksgiving prayer and Gloria Patri. Then the benediction and Amen response led by Rev. Lai. and we were dismissed after the silent prayer. Its must have been hard to know who are the people serving,so I better include the roster for 17/8/2008.

Had A Fall...Ouch!

Today went for my friend's PW pilot test. They consist of Michelle and Sok Theng, and a few other people whom I don't know. They are doing on Ray Charles, the blind musician. I was shocked to hear that although he was blind,but he got 2 mistresses,excluding his legal wife. He was born and became blind at the age of around 8,if I didn't remember wrongly. He even saw his brother drown before him when they were playing.He was also on drugs and he went through rehabilitation treatment.His wife knew of his mistresses but said nothing. All these information were only a few days old,so I still can remember them.

Then we had an activity. We need to blindfolded and be lead through a maze.(Actually,it was just a classroom with tables around.)I was told to stand up on a table and walk straight,so I did as I was told.I walked,and after a few steps,I stepped into the air and I fell on some tables,injuring myself.I had an abrasion on my left forearm,a super big bruise on my right hindarm,and a cut across my chin.Now beginning to heal already. Just took the skin on my chin and plucked it out. Ya. painful,but have to bear with it.

Michelle and Sok Theng kept on apologizing to me ever since I got injured. Strangely, I began to be closer to Sok Theng nowadays after the NDP parade. I think it's because we were very close from last year's NDP parade. Then somemore she call me Senior and I called her Junior sometimes. Then joked a lot. So quite close lor. Hope I can concentrate on my A levels and don't get too distracted.

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Today is 9th August! Singapore's Birthday! I hereby wish Singapore a beautiful,peaceful and a prosperous in the years to come! 43rd Birthday this year! Singapore do have come a long way since independence! Hahas... I do have a friend who is born on the same day as the nation,but not the same year. Her name is Jasmine Er.(I know so many Jasmine s,need to specify the surname too!)

Watched the parade just now on TV. It was so nice. But I only watched the parade and the last half an hour of the performance. I was thinking to myself as I watched the parade that I might be one of the people in the GOH contingents the year after next. Because I was selected to go for Vocational Assessment earlier this year.(You can see the posting in my personal blog.) But I haven't get the letter for my posting yet. If I am really posted to Commando,I will be in the GOH contingents the year after next. Because the three GOH contingents are the Commando,the NDU(Naval Diving Unit),and the RSAF(Republic of Singapore Air Force). So I will have to get into one of these 3 units in order to be in the GOH contingents. And since I have been selected to go for the Commando Vocational Assessment,Imay have a chance to get posted to the Commando Unit after all! Then I can be in the GOH contingent for Commando in the year 2010 le! Ya. So very the good lor!

See so many blogs le. Don't think a lot of people will put their thinking of the NDP in their blogs. Maybe people may think that I'm siao! But maybe I'm participated in the NDP(for my school),that's why I feel a great sense of pride for my own country and my nation,and my home,Singapore!

Millennia Institute's NDP 2008

The day has finally come! Millennia Institute's NDP is at your door. This NDP is certainly different in the sense that there will be a slow march of the state flag and the school flag. And this will also be the 1st year that there will be a model helicopter carrying the state flag and flying past the parade when the national anthem is being played,just like a real parade. And I'm involved in the flag party! I must say that I'm really honoured because I get to carry the state flag and slow march in,along with three other guys,one from NCC(Land),one from NCC(Sea),and the other from NPCC,and one from NCDCC who is holding the school flag. The 5 of us will slow march in the state flag ans the school flag.

Initally,the evening before the actual thing,the sky was dark. Very DARK. Then I was scared that it will rain,so I prayed to God,and I thank God that He let the sky release its moisture at 8pm like that ,so I guess that there will not be any downpour the next day bahx. Hahas. I think those who have participated in a parade willl know my feelings right now. The happiness. Hahas. NDP le! Can't wait to don on my scout full uniform again and be in the flag party,just like last year!

Release of the Mid Year Results

Today is the release of the Mid Year results. Everyone is super stressed and worried,especially on the day itself. That includes me as well.

Today,I got up at 7am lor. So early.(Because my aunty call at that time,then I was awakened by the ringing of the phone.). Then I dragged my tired body to the toilet where I washed up and then got and lie down on the sofa for more shut-eye. Then bathed and changed into a school house tee and the school pants,and we met my aunty at the interchange.(Because she will be going shopping with my mother after the collection of my results,so she will be going with us too.)

When we reached the classroom,Dickson and his mother were talking to Mr.Pow. It didn't take long because they were leaving as soon as me and my mother sat down.Then it was my turn. The bus ride was the shortest that I had.Normally,it was so slow,but it was so fast today.I think that it's the psychological barrier that I had bahx.

So when I saw the result slip,I wasn't surprised,and neither was my mum,because I told her about my results the day before. Then Mr.Pow,my home tutor,told us that my maths is super poor,and I need to clarify my doubts really fast. As for the other subjects,I can pass de,because the other subjects were going to pass le,but never pass. So I need to jiayou! Then after the conference,I had to fill in a survey form about Chemistry. Then me and my mum and my aunty went to Jurong Point to buy things and went to the bank. When my mum was waiting for her turn,my aunty asked me why I decided to believe in Christ. I told her and even tried to spread the Gospel to her,and I did it! But I need to be more precise because I told her the bulk of the Gospel and she could not understand. I used the 'tactics' that I learned from the apologetics talk. She was the first person I spread the Gospel to! I never imagined that she would be the first. So in the end,she just say;"Aiya,when you believe in something,you will talk about the good side of the thing and you will only touch on the bad sides briefly." I was quite disappointed, but I did not show it.But I believed that God will,by His own will and at His own time,will bring His people back to Him.

Vocational Assessment (VA) at Hendon Camp morning.

It's a super long and tiring journey to the Hendon Camp. Have to wake up at 4.30am to walk to Boon Lay MRT Station. Then have to take MRT all the way from Boon Lay MRT to Tampines MRT. Then have to take a 30 minute bus ride to reach the camp.Reach the camp at 7.45am like that,with the help from a fellow MJC guy called Bing Min and the help of the bus driver.


Then have to put our handphones into lockers because of the terrorism thing,and we were divided into details.(A detail is just a group of 10-12 boys.) I was in Detail 5.Bing Min was in my detail too. My Detail IC was named Nigerl. We were being lead into the hall where we need to wait for an hour because of adminstrative matters. And that was where most of the guys fell asleep. Being the friendly and chatty guy I was, I immediately seize this opportunity to get my detail mates.(Who knows,I may be bunking in with them next year.)I got to know David from CJC,Bing Min from MJC,and others,so we first went for medical checkup. The doctor just asked us some questions and then it was ok already.


Then next came the physical test. We were supposed to do Standing Board Jump(SBJ),Sit ups, Push ups and Chin ups. First it was SBJ. Not very good la. Only 216cm. Then it's sit ups in one minute.Ok la. Not bad,did 47.Then push ups in one minute.Also ok la,did 37. Then Chin ups. Everyone was like hands pain already after doing Push ups already then now need to do Chin ups.Everyone was like stretching their arms. OK la.Everyone in my detail did 2-7. I did 12.Hahas. I'm not flattering myself.


Then it was some exercise that requires one to balance,to have flexibility,to have agility,and endurance.Everything was ok la.Then it's time for lunch.I think that my detail was the only detail who ate together because we took the long bench of the canteen,and the others took the tables which can only occupy 4-5 people per table.


After lunch,we had our interview. All the majors and the Lieutenant were there to assess us and to persuade us to join the commando. One by one,we were called and we would go to the Major or the Lieutenant who called us. The Major asked me a few question,and he said,"Wow,I'm amazed.You can do 12 Chin ups in one minute." I was like,"Ya." Then he asked me another few questions,taught me how to train for my SBJ,and then told me to go back and wait for the letter. He told me that he don't know if I can get in,but the chances are quite high.


Then came the Psychological test,whereby we need to fill in lots and lots of surveys(not really alot la.Only 3.) But one survey had 150 questions,another had75 questions and the other one had 185 questions. We do until like Siao! Sitting down there for 3-4 hours doing what?Survey after survey!Tiring,but must do.One survey is to test your IQ,another is to test how we deal with stress and the next one is just to test our personality.Super exhausted. I think I'm more tired from doing those surveys than doing the physical test.


After the physical test,we had to go back to the hall whereby we need to fill in our particulars and then can go back already.Nigerl told me that if he didn't see wrongly,he think that my name was in the list that said that I am suitable to be a commando.Don't know about that. He also told me that if I received a letter which is purple in colour and telling me to go to Pasir Ris Camp to report,I'm on my way to becoming a commando.So if the next time you see me blogging that I received a purple letter telling me to go to Pasir Ris camp to report,then I won't stop you from calling me Commando. Hahas. For Honour and Glory!!!

Contented with things...

Wa...very sian today! First wanted to bring traditional costume to school because I thought that someone in the class would wear,then wear together with him or her,but the amazing thing is that not even a quarter of the Year 3s wore.And the funny thing is,out of the 4 Science classes that we have in Year 3,not even one wore.(I guess that racial harmony day is a everyday thing to us because we are always open about it and do not discriminate other races.So in our hearts,everyday is racial harmony day to us even though we may not realize it.And what's more,we're wearing the school's ethnic costume:the school uniform!(Brrr...So cold...)

Had Chemistry for the 1st 2 periods. Wasn't that bad.Went through electrochemistry. Noticed that I have a bit to catch up.So need to read up more.Then it was break.After break,2 periods of geography.Went through the hazards and mitigation methods of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.Then break .(AGAIN?!) Then 4 periods of maths. It was very dry. The teacher just kept talking and we were also talking at the same time,until the teacher gave up and told us that if we got any questions to ask him,can ask.So the 4 periods just dragged on............(Slowly.............)

Then time for the swordsman practice! Heya!!! Actually,it was called Chambara. It consists of hitting the opponent on the head with a long stick made of foam(Styrofoam, not the foam that we see when we bathe. The type of sticks used is included in the picture below.)So we practised what we learnt last week and the instructor taught us one new technique:to hit the opponent's body by 'cutting' diagonally through it. After that,we had a one-one sparring session.My 1st opponent:Edgar! We fought like 2 fierce lions! People say that because we didn't give any mercy as we sparred. We just have one aim:FIGHT!!!!!!! Then after that,my 2nd opponent:Hady. Once we started, I kept on trying to hit the head and he kept on to defend,and once I hit the stick out of his hand.He ran to catch it and I was at the back trying to hit him as many times as possible.Then he hit my body once and me head area twice times and my helmet dropped out! Hais...All my shots didn't hurt him and it took only 2 shots from him to get my helmet out from my head..lols....That was practically the whole day lor...:)

19th July.. The day the AKE seniors are looking forward to!

19th July. The day has finally arrived.It's a day that every AKE senior is looking forward to.The farewell party!It was a fun filled night!Everybody were very high,especially the seniors.I think it was because it may be the last time that we(the seniors)can be so high to each other.It seems that it was only yesterday that we organized the farewell party for our seniors,and the next time we know,we are the ones who will be attending as the graduating batch,not the people who are organizing! There were many people who were there,like the organizers(Mandy and Wei Siang),the other Year 1s(Sri,Weiling,Rebecca,Christina,etc.)Ms Wee and her son also arrived! It was the first time that Ms Wee actually attended a farewell party because she don't want to shed tears.And it was the 1st time that we saw her shed tears of joy and the fact that she will miss us!It was absolutely sad but the seniors make it feel like it was nothing,until the last game that we played,whereby we had to pass the raffia string on and on,and we have to thank the person whom we passed the string to.So when someone(I don't remember who)passed the string to Ms Wee and say all the thanks,Ms Wee broke down and went to the toilet(to cry.like de.)And the most surprising thing is.Ms Wee passed on to me and thank me for being a joker,for the laughter,the smiles,and the happy face that i put on,and the encouragement.(That makes me wonder:am I really that nice?) We had fun,laughter,and most importantly,the memories that we had for the past 3 years in AKE.It was the moment that I'm sure that none of us will never,ever forget.(Especially the seniors of 2008.)I wish AKE all the best for the years to come and may MIAKE get Gold with Honours in the SYF 2009! MIAKE,YOU CAN DO IT!!!GO GO GO!!!AKE ROCKS ALWAYS!!!Seniors,all the best for your A levels!!!

School on 18 th July is so exciting!

Wow! School is so exciting today! Got Wushu mass display! But very hot in the morning! But must do,so just do lor. Mr Ivan Lim wore a very nice costume! Then he do the Wushu that time very funny! But he too far away,so laugh at him also no use.(who knows,later kena detention because u laughed at him!) Then do a lot of times. Do until sweat lor. Haha. Then after we started with the second period of the day,which is GP. It's still ok la,even though we were sleepy,because of the Wushu.(It's not the exercise that make us tired,it's how the Wushu girl says the command that make us sleepy.Yawn!)Then after it's Maths. My friend thought its break,so he say,"Yay!Break le!" Then we all looked at him and were like huh! Then he asked me now not break ah,then i say no la. But Maths very boring,because I never bring any Maths stuff! So just sit there for 2 periods and borrow the Maths book from my friend and do some questions lor. Then after Maths,it's my favourite period:BREAK!!! Woohoo!!!(Oops,too random.) But it's was a good period. The boys sat together with the girls and we talked a lot lor.About everything under the Sun!Ya!Then after that,it GP again!Sian for 1 period,then I go AKE. Talked to Christina and Weiling about Wei Siang. Hahas.
Tmr is the party le! Ms Wee will be there too! Can't wait to see everyone! See You all tmr!!!

School on 17th July is so sian

Wa... Cannot tahan ah.Today school is sian until cannot sian.OK la.Not that sian too,but there are some lessons that are enriching,and i actually got to revise something.For example,Maths.Today went through 3 questions from 3 different topics:Binomial Distribution,Poisson Distribution,and Probability.It's tough,nonetheless,and I must have killed a lot of my brain cells.but at least I learned something.Another lesson is GP.We had this teacher called Mr Rion Ang (my friend Edgar Ang keep on stressing that he don't get used to calling himself when he called the teacher,because both has the surname Ang,so I told him that I also don't get used to greeting myself when we greet the principal every morning,because I have the surname as my principal:Tan.) At first,I thought that the lesson was very boring,but it was OK in the end.(Although I slept quite a lot.) But everything was considered OK la.Not many interesting things happen today except that I learned new things.Still cannot get used to having 4 straight periods of 40 minutes each in the afternoon.

Finally got back all my results.Passed only one subject.Looks like I have to chiong for the A levels.Now got condensed timetable.In the afternoon got 4 straight periods of consultation.So 凶 lor! everyone in PU3 need to be in this thing, so everyone is very stressed!Today Meiling very emo.Asked her why so emo got a emo answer:Nothing.But never mind la.She emo a bit then the next moment you will see her very high le.After 4 straight periods of Chemistry consultation(everyday got consultation for different subjects),we went to see Ms Wee,our conductor,at the music room.She was talking to Seraphine when I reached there.Then the PU3s,one by one came to the music room and take a look.Wow! I thought everyone would go home!But this shows our AKE spirit!Then we talked a while,listened to the new members played Di Tanjung Katong,and then Ms Wee(or Mrs Tan) told us jokingly to go home.So we go lor.Then I reached,changed into my PE attire and went for a 5km run.Very tiring!But must persevere.If not next time be commando very hard de. Hahas.AKE rocks! (Very random).

Gospel Rally!

Finally,the day we long awaited has arrived! The Gospel Rally in our church is going to begin at 7.20pm. I reached church office at 4 something,wearing a pink long sleeved shirt and navy blue pants. Weird combination huh? Yuan,Tracy Jie and Jerry thought so too. Influenced me to auditorium to do a final sound check before the actual thing. Then we prayed and ate our dinner.
Of course,I have every reason to be happy because my friend ,Wei Jian,is going!We met at Farrer Park MRT Station,and i brought him to the auditorium.Initially,Wei Jian was quite shy,but eventually,he got quite close to the church members. And he met 2 lit people:Xiao Hui and Jerry!

The gospel rally was a good one. So many new friends and I praise God for His great works. The dance was good,the testimony sharing was good,the choir was good,the emcee was good,the speaker was good,and the ushers were good,and everyone who played a part in the rally.To tell you the truth,I was so scared at first.Then Xiao Hui and Yuan tried to calm me down,and Yuan asked me to tell my testimony in my normal voice,because I told her that Aunty Biqing say I talk like a minister giving a speech,and I'm supposed to share with the people my life story.Eventually,I did it and Aunty Biqing praised me. And I give thanks to God too.We had tea reception after the sermon and we got to know many friends that our brothers and sisters in Christ brought along. Too bad Wei Jian had to leave earlier to meet his mother.Hahas.
In all,it's a meaningful rally and I give thanks that I can be able to be a part of the personnel to serve Him.
AHHHH!!!!! Tomorrow got to present the anthem 将生命交给上帝!!! Need to go and practice le!!!!

Today is a stressful day for me. Got back exam papers except for Physical Geography. I must say that I'm indeed a bit disappointed with the results. There are a lot of people who are grumbling, and among them are some of my friends. But as it is the first time we sat for the full paper, it is normal as the content knowledge is quite alot for us to grasp. Hais. But no choice lor. Have to accept it.

Today got a letter from CMPB. The letter told me that I am to report to Hendon Camp on 23/07/2008 at 7.45am. I was like ok lor. (Except that Hendon Camp is at Pasir Ris, and I live in Boon Lay.). When I put it as my MSN nickname, my church friend, Marcus saw it and told me that Hendon Camp is a Commando Unit. I was so thrilled! I never thought that I can be a Commando. But it's still pending. Still don't know I can get in anot... Hahas...

A bit disappointed

Dear God,I want to pray for the Youth Gospel Rally this Saturday Lord. Lord, I want to pray that even though only one of my five friends are going, but I want to give thanks because You had worked into his heart and let him come. Lord, I want to pray for Wei Jian Lord,who will be coming. Lord, may You bless him with safety as he come to know more about relationships and the meaning of life, and that if it Your will Lord,may You move his heart such that he can be drawn to You and that he can be able to know more about You.And Lord,if it is Your will,I want to pray that he can be able to accept You as his personal Lord and Saviour.Lord,I have to admit that I may be a bit disappointed that the others are not going. But Lord,I want to pray that it is a wrong perception and that I should not have this perception because Wei Jian is still coming.And I believe that You will have Your own and Your own will to draw them to You.Lord,I want to pray for the people who will be serving You on that day Lord,be it the ushers,befrienders,the speaker,the worship leaders,the people sharing their testimonies,the stage helpers,the PA,the counselors,and all the others who will be serving You according to their spiritual gifts.Lord,I want to give thanks that the church is organizing this gospel rally to draw those who will be drawn to You.And may You bless that our service is pleasing to You. In the precious name of our Lord and Saviour,Jesus Christ,we pray. Amen.

Aiya,tomorrow is Youth Day! A day for the youths!Can rest! But according to Yuan,everyday is Youth Day to her until she starts her university! Hahas. Boo! Wanna cry! She always suan me one! Haha! And to think that I was born on the same year same month and same day somemore! I learnt about apologetics today!A very great help to spread the Gospel to my non-believers friends!At the very least,I know how to answer certain questions that my friends have!Thanks God that Brother Marcus have taught this lesson.Hahas.

After the lesson,I went to the kitchen to talk to Yuan.(The reason is that I was only familiar with her.) Anyway,I told her that I have an example to show the moral argument. I told her to imagine that she is having a meal with me. Then she said,"WHY?" I was like,"Can imagine?" And she started laughing. At that time,Leyi was also there and she laughed too. Then I started to say that maybe putting the finger into the soup was wrong and so on.Both of them literally LOL on the spot. Then other people came and asked them why they laughed. And I was forced to say the finger into the soup again. They also LOL on the spot! Hahas. Soon after,Weiling and Marcus came down and I told them about it as well. But they told me that maybe can use it to tell my friends if they tell me that this world is an illusion, and i keep on bombarding Marcus with questions, and Marcus was answering them one by one. Eventually,we sat down and talked for a long while. It was the first time I was so interested in apologetics. Questions just popped out of my mind and I just asked.Before we went home,Marcus recommended me a book called The Case For Christ.It's a good book to read. Then we went together to the MRT station together.Weiling and Marcus went home,Yuan,Meiling,Jerry,Jia Jun,Wei Wu,Jia Ming went to meet Jonathan Thng at Dhoby Gaut,and I went to Outram Park to take the green line home.

Had a dinner of rice,fried chicken cutlet,vegetables,and hot dog with French fries. Hahas. Super filling! Then bathe and sleep! Hahas. Who knows,maybe I'm sleep-typing now! Hahas.(Brrr.... So Cold...)

Sharing of my testimony during the Youth Gospel Rally

Such a good opportunity to share with the people who will be there for the Youth Gospel Rally.It is also a good chance to share with people about God and how He had changed my life.Having a God who had made me into who I am today is indeed a good chance to tell my friends! Our life testimony is the best evidence of God's blessings and the provision He had for us! So let's not take this chance for granted and invite as many friends as possible and may He work in their hearts as they listen to the message by Marcus and the sharing of the testimonies that the brothers and sisters in Christ in the church.May we all work together in the name of the Lord and may He have mercy on the ones whom He will be saving at the youth gospel rally and may we glorify His name! May God shower His blessings on all the personnel and we be the light and salt to our friends!Amen!
